Twisted Jute Kitchen Hot Pad Tutorial
In this Decor Corps tutorial, we'll teach you how to create an attractive kitchen hot pad using 1/2'' Twisted Jute. Our twisted jute cord is built the way nature intended with no oils, odors, chemicals, bleaches, or dyes so you can be sure it's safe to use around your food.
Materials needed:

- 1/2 Twisted Jute
- Thick Fabric (we used Duck cloth)
- Hot Glue Gun & Glue
- Tape (For the ends of the rope)
Step 1: Cutout desired hot pad size using a round object or a compass. Ours is 6" diameter.
Step 2: Glue rope end to the middle of the cloth. Continue gluing around in a spiral, keeping the rope tight.
Step 3. Tape the spot where you want to cut the rope and chop it off. Glue the end securely and hold for 20-30 seconds to let the glue set fully.
Step 4: Trim any edges of cloth sticking out.
