The SGT KNOTS Cotton Sash Cord offers the right amount of strength to sustain daily wear and abrasion while performing at par with all general requirements.  The all-purpose cord features thick top-quality cotton outer cover and a synthetic core for added strength.

The synthetic core gives this versatile cotton rope lesser stretch in comparison to pure 100% cotton ropes which adds to the sturdiness.  The natural-white cotton sash rope provides a smooth functioning without showing any signs of brittleness.  Supplied packed in a sturdy carton, it is very easy to store and stack this braided cotton cord in compact places as well.  Use the cabinets inside the house to store the rope or a place in the garage, both will work perfectly.

Almost What I Wanted

Product quality is good. The description said it is all cotton but that is not accurate. The core is made up of synthetic fibers. I purchased it to make tug toys for my dog and the synthetic fibers are a bit of a dealbreaker. Because I'm using it 'off label' that becomes more of an issue, so I think for other users that construction detail would likely be no problem. If the description had been accurate however, I would not have purchased the item.
