Classic figure of '8' descender. Perfect for belaying the first climber with a half, single and double ropes.

So simple to use, and it will never let you down.  The figure 8 was one of the first rappel device designs and is still used for its reliability.  With no moving or mechanical parts, it is easy to see if your figure 8 is correctly rigged before you lower.

It works on ropes from 9 to 12 mm. Best when used for climbing, caving, canyoning and mountaineering.
