Tendon Master TeFix 9.0 - UIAA Certified Lightweight Simple Braid Dynamic Rope
The Master TeFix 9.0 is the perfect do it all rope, with an added layer of safety. The thin 9mm size is perfect for sending the hardest sport or trad route. The light weight and Complete Shield dry treatment let you take the Master TeFix 9.0 into the mountains and ice as well.
The proprietary TeFix technology permanently fuses the sheath to the core with fibers that won’t bleed through the sheath or break down over time, giving you the added security you want for a lightweight rope. Legendary Tendon durability means the sheath will last through all your adventures and won’t get fuzzy or stiff after one day of climbing.
Rated use: Single, Half, Twin
LIGHTWEIGHT: The Master TeFIX 9.0 is one of the lightest single ropes on the market. Weighing 55g per meter, a 60 meter rope would weigh only 7.25lbs!
TeFIX: technology permanently fuses the core and the sheath of the rope. This gives the rope 0% sheath slippage, which prevents any milking of the sheath. The bonded core also increases the ropes durability and handling.
UIAA CERTIFIED: Our Tendon Master TeFix 9.0 Rope is certified by the UIAA (International Climbing and Mountaineering Federation), ensuring it meets rigorous safety standards and performance requirements for climbing equipment. All Tendon dynamic ropes are tested to check for UIAA compliance.
SIMPLE BRAID SYSTEM (SBS): A process where each strand is plaited separately into the sheath construction and not in tandem. SBS braiding makes the sheath surface much more compact. Another benefit is the sheath will have a smoother feel, easier handling through belay devices, and reduces abrasion.
MIDPOINT: Our Master TeFIX 9.0 Rope is marked at the midpoint, allowing for easy identification and efficient rope management during climbs and when rappelling.
