Patented technology of the FORCE ropes uses a combination of nylon sheath and core, with braided steel mid-layer, for a very unique rope construction. The rope is developed for extreme conditions during special operations (rescue team, firefighters, police, army). The special design protects against anything or anyone cutting through the rope. Descending the rope with standard rappel devices, even with steel wired braided around the core, works just as well as any normal static rope.
