Crab Fishing Line/Braided Tire Cord is primarily a marine rope and is used for crab fishing and other marine uses but, it can also be used as a general utility rope.  Made using polyester with a parallel core, the braided twine is super tough and durable and is resistant to elements like moisture, extreme temperatures, weather, chemicals, and abrasion.

Unlike natural braided cords, polyester twine has high tensile strength for lasting knots and performance.  This heavy-duty cord reel is suitable for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications such as nautical, marine, ranch, and farm, and the same cord is used in tire manufacturing and center strands of paracord.  It is a great general-purpose utility cord, however, it does not float.

Dealing with Sgt Knots

Great! Good stuff. My second purchase was an upgrade from my first, which I had purchased incorrectly. Needed a bigger rope dimension. They offered to let me return the first purchase, which I declined as it was my error. Both products suited my need admirably, for I even found a use for the unusable initial purchase. Wrong stuff, my mistake . Can't return to AMAZON

I don't know how it happened ,but I thought I was buying from AMAZON where we get free shipping. I had to pay shipping. I saw that it was sold for crab fishing. Thought it would be good small sailboat halyard. It's not double braid and way too stretchy. Hope no-one makes these same mistakes. Don't use in place of marine double braid polyester!
